The cooperation between the Hungarian Foundation of the SOS Children's Village and the local government of Kecskemét continues to strengthen in order to help young people in care . An agreement on this matter has been prepared, the essence of which is that with the involvement of KIK-FOR Kft., which deals with local real estate matters, young adults participating in the Youth Program can get municipal rental housing.
The tenants are appointed by SOS Children's Village. Thanks to the cooperation, the city can also help the integration of young adults who have previously received care into society, and the gradual development of independent living.
The renovation of the apartments was undertaken by the Hungarian Foundation of the SOS Children's Village. In the framework of the Youth Program, the participants will be continuously assisted and cooperated with KIK-FOR Kft. Furthermore, you agree to pay for any tenant debts that may arise.
The program is in line with the city's efforts to support youth, and with the goal of keeping young people local.
