As happens almost every parliamentary session, the opposition members attack the government again and again for its actions related to the epidemic.

This time, in his speech before the agenda, Bence Tordai listed the accusations that are already well-known and have been refuted every time. He claimed that according to the data of the past week, Hungary is the world leader in the number of deaths caused by covid. According to the Párbeszéd politician, the government is responsible for all of this, according to him, thousands of billion forints have not been invested in health care in the past 11 years. In his speech, the opposition representative called Miklós Kásler, the head of Emmi, completely incompetent.

According to Bence Tordai Viktor Orbán delayed the measures, and in addition, the prime minister thought that if the vaccines were coming, there was no need for meaningful steps.

Csaba Dömötör answered on behalf of the government The parliamentary state secretary of the Prime Minister's Cabinet emphasized that they are hunting for those international statistics that can be claimed to show that Hungary performs the worst.

"With this, they are not insulting us, but the health workers who have been fighting on the front line for a year, and it is quite unworthy to insult a health professional week after week, who has decades of healing experience behind him and has single-handedly saved more lives than your factions" , highlighted Csaba Dömötör.

The politician called the vaccination program crucial, more than 1.5 million people have been vaccinated so far. He reminded that if the government had accepted the advice of the opposition, there would be hundreds of thousands less people vaccinated in Hungary. He suggested that if they want to do something against the epidemic, they should contact their friends in Brussels, but not to report the country, but to put pressure on them to at least deliver the shipments for which they have contracted to arrive on time, and the government will purchase the missing quantity from other sources.

He called it quite hypocritical that the opposition blames the health management, even though the opposition demanded an opening a few weeks ago, so surely more people would have died . According to Csaba Dömötör, the opposition only cares about the election campaign, which is why it ignores professional, fairness and human considerations and therefore "attacks from the hip" everything the government does.
