A bush ceremony was held today at the Mindszentyneum, that is, at the museum and pilgrimage center commemorating Cardinal József Mindszenty and the victims of the church persecution of the communist dictatorship.

At the ceremony held in Zalaegerszeg, Azbej Tristan, the state secretary responsible for the implementation of the Hungary Helps Program, gave a speech, praising József Mindszenty as: he was a prophet, a man who in historical times, bearing witness to a historical character, urged national unity, and whose national interest always came first its individual aspects.

On the occasion of the new wing of the Göcsej Museum, the József Mindszenty Museum and Pilgrimage Center, the State Secretary said: the Mindszentyneum, which will be built from the approximately 8.3 billion forints within the framework of the Modern Cities program, "is at the service of the homeland and will be for the spiritual and spiritual development of the country" . It is a unique, gap-filling permanent exhibition that presents the life journey of the late cardinal and the persecution of the church by the Hungarian communist dictatorship. In addition to permanent and temporary exhibitions, the new building will also have a conference room, offices and community rooms.
