"Something stinks in Denmark," says one of the characters in Shakespeare's play Hamlet, referring to the fact that although many guess the truth, if they cannot prove it at the same time, they cannot do much about it. Well, many of us are like this with a significant part of the criticism of the EU that has been raining down for years now - we suspect that there is a completely different intention behind the specific attacks, and in addition, we usually have evidence, but at least we can refute the false accusations on merit.

Reading and listening to the Western left-liberal media, we come across statements every day that anti-Semitism is experiencing a renaissance in Hungary, and that the Hungarian government is homophobic and anti-Gypsy. In order to refute these claims, it is enough to read the Basic Law of Hungary (hereinafter referred to as the Basic Law), voted unanimously by the representatives of the Hungarian government parties in the Parliament. Even the National Creed declares that we, the members of the Hungarian nation, value the various religious traditions of our country. The basic tv. VII. article ensures freedom of religion and the free exercise of religion.

This in itself rules out anti-Semitism, since the immanent criterion for the realization of the latter is that the Jews are subject to discrimination, physical or mental abuse due to their religious beliefs, and that they are restricted in the free exercise of their religion. If that wasn't enough, the XV. article guarantees that no one can be discriminated against (among other things) due to their color, gender, religion, or any other opinion or other situation during the exercise of their fundamental rights. This provision conceptually makes the systemic, "state-recognized" presence of anti-Semitism, anti-Gypsyism and homophobia impossible.

The situation of minorities in Hungary

Let's look at the refutation of the Western mainstream's claims from practice as well! The goal of the framework agreement signed in 2011 between the government and the National Roma Self-Government is to expand the employment of Roma and implement programs aimed at improving their living conditions. As a result, the National Social Reintegration Strategy (2011–2020) was born, with which they fight against impoverishment, while monitoring the evolution of the situation of the Roma, if necessary, with special anti-discrimination programs. An anti-Gypsy government would be far from willing to take such steps. Viktor Orbán made it clear in January 2018: the Hungarian government sees the Roma community as a resource. At the meeting of students and alumni of the Christian Roma Vocational College Network at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Prime Minister said the following: "From our point of view, the Roma are not a helpless minority living on aid, i.e. on the money of other taxpayers [...], but we are talking about Hungarian citizens who have a livable future and opportunities we can give here, in their homeland." He added: "yes, there is hope, you just have to work for it."

As regards Judaism and the liberals' anti-Semitic accusations, Viktor Orbán usually talks about the importance of Jewish-Christian culture, which in itself perfectly exemplifies the legal and factual basis of the left's false accusations. According to the website of the Israeli newspaper Yediót Ahronót, after Israel, the largest number of Jewish descendants live in Hungary - if there really was so much anti-Semitism in our country, this would probably not be the case. In November 2020, Slomó Köves, chief rabbi of the United Hungarian Israelite Congregation, said the following at an international conference organized by the Friends of Hungary Foundation: "Hungary is probably the safest place for Jews in Europe right now." He noted: "As far as anti-Semitic tendencies are concerned, Hungary is definitely safe in international comparison." In 2019, there were 35 anti-Semitic incidents in Hungary, which is significantly less than similar data from Western countries.

Currently, the most fashionable left-liberal accusation against the Hungarian government is that it is homophobic, since - according to a recent amendment to the law - we do not allow LGBTQ propaganda to be forced on people under the age of 18. In addition to the governing parties, Jobbik, which has not been accused of leaning to the right for a few years and which, contrary to its name, usually leans to the left, also voted for the legislation. In our country, the rights of gays are not impaired, this is proven by Alaptv. and among many other legal sources, XXIX of 2009 on the amendment of certain laws related to the registered partnership and necessary to facilitate the verification of the partnership. also a law which, as the highest level of legislation, provides same-sex couples with a registered partnership as a special, registered form of cohabitation.

The situation of protected groups in the West

I wonder how well the rights of the mentioned protected minorities are enforced in the Western countries that regularly attack our country? How can the leaders of the countries that formulate the criticism excellently protect their own citizens from the visceral "tolerance" of migrants?

Let's start with the situation of the Jews! As a result of the renewed Jewish-Palestinian conflict, immigrants in the West showed the whiteness of their teeth, and instead of promoting the welfare of the Palestinian population, they propagated hatred of the Jews. In Germany, "peaceful, fleeing from war" aggressive migrants, posing as victims, set Israeli flags on fire in front of synagogues in several cities, and it also happened that they threw stones at Jewish houses of worship, causing considerable material damage.

The left-wing politicians and their media (although in their view the ownership of the building is questionable) initially tried to excuse the vandals by saying that they only organized a demonstration of sympathy for the Palestinian people, "Death to Tel Aviv!" and "Death to the Jews!" however, rhymes quickly overturned this not very strong argument. In London parades, the pro-peace immigrants, ambassadors of love on earth, encouraged the population through loudspeakers to rape the daughters and women of the Jews - no justification was attached to the instruction, although presumably it would be "because", "just" or "because of Allah". But of course, this did not bother the Muslim mayor of the British capital at all. In Austria, you could see many anti-Semitic banners (and not only around Braunau am Inn), one of which read: "The Nazis are still among us, only now they call themselves Zionists." According to some "New Dutch" citizens, "Jews are like cancer, Heil Hitler!".

Anti-Semitic sentiments among those coming to the West were not triggered by armed clashes in the spring. According to the Community Security Trust (CST), a monitoring organization that supports the security of British Jews, since its foundation in 1984, there have not been so many reported atrocities: in 2018, anti-Semitism was reported 1,652 times. This is 16 percent more than the previous year, when 1,420 cases were reported. In 2016, they were aware of 1,375 acts of hatred, so the current figure shows a worsening trend for three years, and every year in England they manage to "break a record" in anti-Semitism. According to analysts, there is a logical connection between the tragic data and the highly controversial anti-Israel behavior of the British Labor Party in recent years. CST's research linked one hundred and fifty cases to the left-wing party.

Anti-Semitism has been a problem not only for the British for many years, but also in other countries of Western Europe. One of the most important conservative weekly newspapers in the EU, Les Valeurs Actuelles, deals in a long compilation with the intertwining of radical Islam and the left, as well as the strengthening of anti-Semitism in France. In recent years, Jews have been fleeing the suburbs of Paris, as attacks by immigrant Muslims have become commonplace. Between 2003 and 2018, 16 French Jews were killed by Muslims, with proven anti-Semitic motives. In France, in addition to hate crimes, the number of essentially all other illegal acts is also increasing with the increasingly significant presence of people with a migration background. According to La Figaro, the situation was worse in almost every area in 2019 compared to 2018, and decade-long records were broken. The number of physical assaults increased by 8 percent, sexual violence by 12 percent, homicide by 8.5 percent, theft by 3 percent, and fraud by 11 percent.

Homophobia - accusations and reality

As everywhere in the world to a greater or lesser extent, homophobia rears its head here too. Mostly in Muslim circles. In 2015, the vice president of the Hungarian Islamic Community said that homosexuals are the dirtiest creatures of Allah. Just imagine what it would be like to be a member of the LGBTQ community in countries where millions of like-minded radical Islamists live! According to the Dutch gay rights organization COC Nederland, there were 1,295 homophobic incidents in the Netherlands in 2016. This number reached its peak in 2015, when 1,574 such cases were uncovered. According to a survey by the University of Amsterdam, immigrants committed two-thirds of homophobic attacks in the Netherlands. Of course, this should not be surprising, since Muslim primary schools in the Netherlands openly distribute homophobic literature among their students, which states that Allah will destroy gays. It is interesting that the EU politicians paid much less attention to this than to the fact that Hungary gives minors the opportunity to grow up normally.

The Netherlands does not stand out among its pro-immigration peers with a high number of violent crimes and hate crimes against gays: a gay man from Africa was terrorized in a refugee camp in Ireland, and in Sweden Syrian migrants brutally beat their fellow gays in 2017 - these are only rarely publicized cases, the latency is huge. As for the rights of gays, another striking difference is that they can march unmolested in our country, while they have little chance of doing so in the West. During Pride in Paris two years ago, Arab demonstrators beat a marching woman, a video was made of the incident, which was posted on Twitter, but the left-liberal press devoted very few articles to the incident.

According to the well-proven method, Western left-liberal politicians make the most serious accusations possible against Central and Eastern European politicians if they are not willing to join the Western mainstream. However, a strong, sovereign country and its leader always act according to common sense and rationality and in the interests of its citizens. And every Hungarian citizen is important to the Hungarian government, regardless of skin color, religion or sexual orientation. In relation to migration, Viktor Orbán said in 2016: "We will not import crime, terrorism, homophobia and synagogue-burning anti-Semitism to Hungary." In this regard, exceptionally, the western left should take an example from us, before it is too late.

They are currently on the 24th hour.
