The Batthyány Circle of Professors sees with deep concern that expectations and practices fundamentally opposed to the conservative-bourgeois values that form the basis of our lives and thinking are becoming widely accepted in European politics.

"We consider it worrisome that neoliberal and neo-Marxist principles are becoming increasingly prominent in domestic left-liberal political circles, in domestic media and organizations that support them and are said to be independent and civil. We do not agree that the nation is an outdated historical entity that should be replaced by a supranational organization.

We express our astonishment at the movements that promote social sex, the role of gender, the devaluing of birth sex, and the opposition of the two. We feel threatened by the new manifestations of anti-church and anti-religion by left-liberal, neo-Marxist, "green" and other political organizations.

We consider hypocritical the behavior that would deny citizenship to Hungarians living abroad, citing economic and political considerations, and opposes the support of our compatriots across the border.

We protest against anyone questioning the traditional values of the family, the nation, and Christianity, because these values are the pledge of our future. Because of our scholarly commitment, it is our right and duty to protect our individual freedom, community identity, Christian culture and national unity with all available means." - says the announcement of the Batthyány Circle of Professors
