While, hand in hand with Brussels, thirteen EU member states intervened in our internal affairs and expressed sharp criticism of our country in connection with the recently adopted pedophile law, little is said about the child protection failures of those countries which would even openly humiliate, or more precisely, "bring Hungary to its knees" in the heat of the debate.

...While Brussels and the Western member states that like to educate Hungarians are busy with how much the new Hungarian regulation represents a harm to the interests of the civil organizations that carry out sexual sensitization, which they support to a large extent, processes are still taking place in these countries that are not only child protection , but also cause serious concern from a human rights point of view , and this is none other than the large number of violent child marriages among minors.

For example, in the country whose prime minister recently stated that Hungary must be forced to its knees in order to respect EU values, the issue of arbitrary child marriages is such a problem that the Dutch government has been dealing with this separately for years, needless to say. , with little success….

... (in the Netherlands) around two hundred and fifty child brides are "sold" every year, most of them at the age of 17, and most of them have a migration background.
It is interesting that in Denmark, France, Germany and Sweden, which are also critical to us, for cultural reasons, underage girls are similarly exposed to danger. In Germany, in 2016, the authorities registered more than 1,400 underage married children , and among them there was a girl who was "sold" at the age of 11, and two years later, at the age of 13, she was expecting her first child.

Unfortunately, in Denmark, children are in even greater trouble than this: after the number of couples in the migrant camps began to accumulate, among which the child wife did not reach the age of eighteen, the authorities began to separate them, but local pro-migrant organizations lobbied until value, so that it is not possible to physically separate the adult husband from the wife, who in many cases has barely reached the age of sixteen, citing human rights.

... In France, there are also a series of omissions surrounding the protection of minor children, and these affect not only the large number of child marriages with a migration background, but also the issue of sexual intercourse with children. at the latter from a Hungarian perspective, it is perhaps surprising that in France until this year, anyone could freely have sexual intercourse with even a 15-year-old child, as long as their consent could be proven in a credible manner. However, after the number of scandalous cases that have increased in recent years, the French parliament has already decided this year to make sex with children under the age of 15 a criminal offence.

But there is also the case of Sweden: in 2016, according to a government survey, at least 132 cases were registered of children who they say live in forced marriages, while some child protection associations drew the public's attention to the fact that this number is probably closer to 200.

In the light of all this, it can be seen that while Brussels and the mentioned Western European countries are regularly trying to interfere in the internal affairs of our country by formulating sharp criticism of Hungary without any diplomatic gesture, in many cases they have difficulty dealing with basic life protection issues within their own jurisdiction . The question arises as to whether this kind of double standard will finally be put on the agenda in such a way that it will once and for all suppress the voices of Brussels cynicism.
