on the purchase of medical equipment for 285 winning applicants. He explained that in the Hungarian village program, hundreds of medical clinics have been renewed or may be renewed, and more than 1,600 settlements have been supported with the exchange of medical equipment.

He added that settlements with less than 5,000 inhabitants, of which there are about 2,800 in Hungary, can apply for the Hungarian village program, so medical devices can be slowly renewed in every settlement.

In the third call for tenders, the procurement of communal equipment was supported in the amount of HUF 3.1 billion, and 382 municipalities won in this category. He added that since 2019, 1,500 small settlements have received support for this purpose, the total value of which exceeds HUF 12 billion.

He said about the fourth tender: the purchase of buses for the village and town care services in the total value of three billion forints. 208 municipalities won the competition. He added: since 2019, 800 buses have been replaced or purchased for more than HUF 11 billion, which means that around half of the affected settlements have already been helped.

He also announced that this year more than fourteen tenders were announced, thirteen of which were successful. By the way, since 2019, 19,000 winning tenders have been announced in the Hungarian Village program, the total value of which is almost HUF 200 billion.
