We, dreamers from the countryside and dreamers in the countryside, Lesz – Gyüttmentek and Már – Gyüttmentek will meet for the sixth time this year, at the end of August, in Magfalva, to share our knowledge and exchange experiences in a gentle meeting with a zero-waste approach.

At the professional presentations and practical sessions of the Gyüttment Meeting, you can get to know and connect with rural newcomers, representatives of already existing gyüttment communities in the country, and those who are just starting to think about moving to the countryside.

We will talk about the cultural values and experiential capital that the people living in the countryside preserve and nurture, and we can learn about the latest achievements of our time related to the eco-conscious existence. All of this at an event where, forming a community, we look for answers to the social, economic and environmental issues affecting our present and future.

The Gyüttment Meeting has a zero-waste approach: during four days, we do not produce any waste, or only waste that can be composted. We implemented this for the first time in Hungary in 2017 and it has become a trademark of our events ever since.

More information about the programs can be found on the website of the Gyüttment Festival, here.
