From the first of September, Fidesz Stop Gyurcsány will launch a petition! Stop Christmas! with the title, they want to remind people that those who want to come to power are the same as "those who destroyed the country between 2002 and 2010", said the Fidesz parliamentary faction leader in Kossuth radio's "Sunday Newspaper" program.

Máté Kocsis said: between 2002 and 2010, when the left was in power - most of the time under the leadership of Ferenc Gyurcsány - they took away a monthly pension, took away a monthly salary from public administration workers and teachers, and canceled the home building program. Hungarian families were forced to take out foreign currency loans, the family tax allowance was abolished, hospitals were closed, HUF 600 billion were withdrawn from the health sector, 16,000 active hospital beds were eliminated, six thousand health workers were laid off, the price of gas was tripled and the price of electricity doubled, and from 16 percent Corporate tax was raised to 19.

In recent years, Ferenc Gyurcsány gained complete control on the left, so it doesn't matter whether Péter Jakab, Gergely Karácsony or Klára Dobrev are running as prime minister candidates, we are facing Ferenc Gyurcsány, he declared.

He added: Ferenc Gyurcsány wants to "hide behind actors and get back into power" , so Fidesz wants those who don't want to "lie again morning, night and night, who don't want Gyurcsány to lead a cavalry charge against his own countrymen again, or shoot eyes who do not want health care to be paid for," he encourages them to support the petition.

"We cannot allow, we will not allow" the "same people who destroyed the country in 2002-2010" to come to power, he emphasized.

Trouble with the capital

According to the faction leader, Mayor Gergely Karácsony's performance in the capital cannot be evaluated. Budapest is in ruins, there is dirt, garbage and traffic jams everywhere, and the homeless situation has also escalated, he said, adding that many decisions in the capital are made by Ferenc Gyurcsány, as the city hall is also full of his people.

Disputes with the Union

Máté Kocsis expects that the EU debates will continue and that the European mainstream will make condemnatory statements, because the Brussels elite wants to help the left to power.

There is a dispute between Hungary and the leaders in Brussels, for example, over migration issues, and we also "stuck" in the area of child protection, said the faction leader, who said that there were surprising EU positions in this regard. He added: I thought child protection was a common European value, but it turned out that this was already preceded by the unconditional support of LGBTQ propaganda".

The leader of the faction stated: Hungary is still unwilling to accept the quota proposals on migration issues, which have become stronger again due to the situation in Afghanistan.
