Just a week ago, we made the decision that we will not wait for the European Union, and instead of the procedure that dragged on for four years, this year we will provide support to Hungarian businesses that are in a difficult situation due to Brexit. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced on Saturday on his Facebook page.
As he wrote: Protracted disbursement is not a solution now, there is no time to wait, as the world economy will soon find itself again, and it is in our interest that Hungarian companies are capital strong and take the best possible starting position for the new economic competition.
The HUF 22 billion tender amount determined by the EU is therefore provided from national sources and is available to all Hungarian companies that are now facing difficulties due to Brexit, but are ready to make investments in order to maintain their export capacity.

The application notice is now available, which contains the main conditions of the support. On October 1, we will publish the detailed call for tenders containing all the information ( www.palyazat.gov.hu ).
After that, Hungarian companies will have 10 days to prepare for the compilation of tender materials , which they will be able to submit between October 11 and 15.
We will sign contracts with the successful applicants at the end of the year , and in 2022 we will fight together to ensure that the Hungarian economy continues to perform at the level of a European champion, despite the difficult period behind us.
