Almost as soon as we started to manufacture weapons, the experts of the British army found the Hungarian weapon to be the most suitable for the purpose in all respects.
The special unit of the British army, the SAS (Special Air Service), is armed with the Gepárd GM6 Lynx sniper rifle, designed and manufactured entirely in Hungary, reports the Daily Mail.

The Gepárd GM6 Lynx (nicknamed Hiúz) semi-automatic rifle weighs only 10 kilograms and is less than 3 meters long. Its range is 1500-1600 meters for a 1 square meter target, but this distance can be increased minimally with special ammunition.

Despite being a powerful weapon, it is easy to carry. It is ideal for parachute deployments on the battlefield," said the British soldier, who asked the tabloid to remain anonymous, adding that the SAS bought 150 of the Hungarian-developed rifle for 9,000 pounds (3.7 million forints).
