Népszava , out of the 293,771 votes counted so far, 16,166 were invalid, which represents a rate of 5.5 percent - in parliamentary elections, the number of invalid ballots is usually only 1.5-2 percent.

There were a lot of invalid ballots in Pest County District No. 7 (6.38 percent), Zala District No. 2 (14.52 percent), and Budapest District No. 2 (6.46 percent), but even more electoral district as well. The first place belongs to electoral district No. 3 of Somogy: here, out of 3,500 votes cast, 1,137 (32.48 percent) were invalid.

According to Népszava, voters are not the only ones who can do much about invalid votes. Allegedly, the system may not have recorded the QR code on the ballot, or it may have been recorded incorrectly when the voter cast his vote, so they cannot be authenticated during the counting.
