It is clear that the European left-wing majority does not accept that we want to protect our children and do not allow LGBTQ propaganda into our educational institutions, which was discussed by the Minister of Justice Judit Varga after a meeting of the Committee on Civil Rights, Home Affairs and Justice of the European Parliament ( LIBE) with its delegation.

We have had a polite but firm conversation in a European manner, said Judit Varga after meeting with the delegation of the LIBE committee in Budapest. Hungary is a sovereign and free country - we stated this at the beginning of the conversation.

It is clear that the European left-wing majority does not accept that we want to protect our children and do not allow LGBTQ propaganda into our educational institutions.

We will not let them impose an immigration policy on our country, we will protect our borders - said Judit Varga.

Regarding Article 7, he said that the European Parliament has no jurisdiction in this section, only the Council.

Varga stated that the indictment is the same as the verdict.

He thanked the conservative representatives who spoke in favor of the Hungarian position.

The Hungarian government only accepts the democratic decision of the Hungarian people.

In response to a question, Judit Varga said that Hungary protects the rights of all minorities within strict legal frameworks. Hungary is a safe European country. The Child Protection Act is about the rights of adults, he added.

The restoration fund was not discussed at the hearing, but it is unacceptable to have value disputes about it, said Varga in response to another question. This is the result of joint borrowing, so it is incomprehensible why a member state is being blackmailed, he added.

At the pan-European level, it raises concerns that some countries have already received the advance, while others have not.

Judit Varga asked the members of the LIBE committee about the series of events in autumn 2006. He received an evasive answer, even though real violations occurred 15 years ago. Varga stated that it is incomprehensible why the current opposition does not receive questions, while it supported and aligned with anti-Semitic candidates.
