According to Márki-Zay, opposition politicians who support Dobrev are traitors

The mayor of Hódmezővásárhely talks about blackmail and treason.

was asked by ATV News what he thinks about those politicians and public figures who previously supported Gergely Karácsony, but in the second round they publicly stood behind Klára Dobrev, he said: " Basically, I am very sad, because it is obvious that Orbán this stance serves to keep them in power".

Márki-Zay talks about how, with this decision, "they are betraying not only Gergely Karácsony, but our country". It is known that in recent days several politicians have announced that they are supporting Klára Dobrev in the second round of the primary election. By the way, Péter Márki-Zay called the spokesperson of Gergely Karácsony's party, István Hiller, Zoltán Gőgös, and several other socialist politicians,  members of the Párbeszéd presidency 

Márki-Zay also spoke about how "many people complain that they are under constant pressure and are forced by all kinds of methods to stand up for Klára Dobrev, while they also know exactly that this is keeping Viktor Orbán in power."

Dobrev: Márky-Zay crossed the line

"Péter Márki-Zay crossed a line that everyone thought was impassable," Klára Dobrev said.

Klára Dobrev reacted on Facebook to the fact that, according to Márki-Zay, all those who support Klára Dobrev in the second round of the primary election are traitors.

"No one has betrayed anyone in the opposition coalition so far. Never. Because it destroys everything we've been working together for years"

- said the Prime Minister candidate of the Democratic Coalition.

According to Dobrev, “this is a real hate campaign. Unfortunately, we know this well in Hungary". In his post, he stated: "at any cost and against anyone" he will keep the opposition coalition together.
