Two hundred migrants stormed and occupied the train station building in Briançon, a small town in southeastern France. The illegal migrants came from Afghanistan, the Maghreb countries and East Africa and crossed the French-Italian border station in Montgenèvre, which has no permanent border guards, on Sunday, reports the French BFM TV.

In Briançon, there is a reception center for migrants constantly arriving from Italy, but it closed its doors last Sunday after it was informed that a large group of 180 migrants was approaching the settlement.

In France, illegal migrants and pro-migrant organizations often put pressure on the authorities with their arbitrary actions.

The temporary accommodation named "Solidáris Terasz" can accommodate a maximum of 80 migrants, and the volunteer group called Solidaritás Menedéke, which operates the center, closed the building citing its own security and that of the settlement.

Migrant defenders drove both the asylum seekers and the new arrivals to the train station in order to put pressure on the local authorities by occupying the train station and paralyzing rail traffic.

THE SOLIDARITY SHELTER ORGANIZATION IS ALSO BLACKMAILING THE CITY LEADERSHIP IN THE WAY THAT UNTIL THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES MORE TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO CARE FOR THE INCREASING NUMBER OF MIGRANTS ARRIVING, IT WILL NOT EVEN OPEN THE RECEPTION CENTER, THAT IS, THE CITY CAN CONSTANTLY COUNT ON THE DONATION ESTABLISHED ON SUNDAYS.

The prefect of the Hautes-Alpes county, Martine Clavel, and the mayor of Briançon, Arnaud Murgia, both condemned the action. The city's mayor told the BFM TV reporter that the same migrant protection organization had previously arbitrarily occupied the city's municipal apartments with migrants.

On Monday, the prefect of the county assigned a squadron of cavalry to the Montgenèvre border section, and on Tuesday another squad arrived to prevent further groups of migrants from crossing and occupying the town.

THE MIGRANTS STAYING AT PÁLYAUDVART ARE STILL AT THE RAILWAY STATION.
