The Elk*rtuk was organized by the Brussels Representation of the Foundation for Civil Hungary and the Hungarian Hullám Public and Cultural Society. for the premiere of the film in Brussels, Origo reported.

Tamás Deutsch , the head of the Fidesz European Parliament group, emphasized in his welcome speech: on the 50th anniversary of the 1956 revolution, Ferenc Gyurcsány committed a political and historical crime at the same time : on his orders, massive illegal police violence was used to crush the protesters due to the prime minister's lies, bloody police boots trampled the Hungarian rule of law, and he wanted to make amends to the good-willed Hungarians for their political frustrations due to '56, which permeated the entire post-communist left. Gábor Kálomista, the film's producer, told Origo that holding a film premiere in Brussels is a really special thing, and the audience confirmed what he had said before, that Elk.rtuk can work as a great film in the world.

More than 120,000 viewers have seen the film in domestic cinemas, which is extraordinary even among international productions. The tense, exciting world-class thriller deals with the events of the fall of 2006 in a unique way. In those days, people believed that this kind of authoritarian repression, reminiscent of the darkest communist times, could not happen in Hungary after the regime change. At that time, Ferenc Gyurcsány and his left-wing government proved that nothing matters to him in order to retain power, and in an unprecedented manner unbecoming of an EU member state, he beat down those demonstrating against him with the bloody police terror typical of dictatorships.

Gábor Kálomista said about the film screening in Brussels: "Thank God, a lot of foreigners watched the film, who clearly thought it was a very good film, even though they didn't really know the background of the story. What we said from the very beginning is that it can work as a great movie in the world. It was good to see this, to receive confirmation from this audience. Many people did not even believe that such a thing could happen, what actually happened in Hungary at that time did not really make it into the world's news. It got people interested in the fall 2006 events. Several people said that they would look into it more because they consider what happened to be an exaggeration"

The Hungarian delegation confirmed to the doubters that these are the facts, this is what happened then. An interesting discussion arose because they found it unbelievable that this could happen in 2006 in a European Union country.

Tamás Deutsch , the Fidesz EP representative, in his greeting at the film screening in Brussels, emphasized that in the light of the events of the fall of 2006, the Brussels bureaucrats who are concerned about the rule of law are completely discredited : In relation to Gyurcsány's police terror, it completely discredits all the writings of the Brussels bureaucrats about the rule of law."

The head of the Fidesz European Parliament (EP) representative group said in his speech that it is unprecedented for a political protest in an EU member state to be suppressed with the tools of police terror in a manner typical of dictatorships, and to use physical and criminal retribution against innocent people who hold opinions different from those of the authorities.
