The EU introduces restrictions against Belarus

Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, announced on Wednesday after meeting with US President Joe Biden in Washington that

the EU will introduce new sanctions against Belarus next week.

He added that the restrictions will apply to both individuals and organizations. According to news agency information, the EU is targeting around 30 individuals and organizations, including Belarusian Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makej and the Belarusian airline Belavia.
