It feels good to see how much the world is paying attention to us. When the Hungarian Prime Minister speaks, it is international media news. There is no head of state in Europe today who appears more in the European press, whose name is mentioned more on various platforms than Viktor Orbán. They watch his every performance, where and how they could be included in any of his sentences, actions, gestures, and then they spin the usual negative clichés that he is a right-wing authoritarian, nationalist, populist and radical, dictatorial and controversial leader who flouts European values and international standards. He is the deterrent example for the Western globalist democracies, from whom the advanced world must be protected.

Even the usual Friday radio interview informing his compatriots is the center of attention in the West . Perhaps they are wondering what the prime minister is feeding his compatriots, that they believe him, follow him, stand by him and re-elect him every four years despite all the machinations of the West. Let's add that, due to language difficulties, the world gets secondary information through intermediaries, i.e. through the Hungarian opposition. They could finally learn Hungarian if we are so important to them! Despite all the rumors, the Hungarian language is not a difficult, simple, flexible and logical language, you just have to understand its logic.

However, they are at war with logic in Brussels, as Orbán said last Friday. It was about migration and the Swedish commissioner, who highlighted the importance of migration in fighting the epidemic. If they think migration is good and society needs it, then go ahead, take the migrants, we'll open a corridor, they can march up it to Austria, Germany and Sweden. We help to get these people to them, said the Prime Minister. If they want it so much!

Now that illegal migration has reached the proportions of 2015 again, it would be good if the EU would finally pay the Hungarians the one and a half billion euros spent so far on European border protection, he added, and help other interested countries as well. After all, we are no longer condemned to border protection alone, almost all the member states located on the Schengen external border are affected, they build the border lock, themselves, but at the same time the Union must be protected. Orbán is a team player, he represents all those who play in the same team as him. He also wrote his observations on migration, the joint demand, to President von der Leyen on behalf of all stakeholders.

On the other hand, those who live in the wealthy interior of Europe or on the northern periphery think differently about border protection. According to them, migration can only be a good thing, and those who don't see it that way are on the wrong path. For example, us, for six years now, that's why they are trying to convince us with all kinds of means, in fact they would force their will on us. They reason that European values, solidarity and all, and no, they do not support the building of a fence. Instead, they send a few frontexes who are used to desks, and then they help with border protection. NGOs receive support from the budget, as they represent European values, protect and help migrants so that they can reach the Europe of their dreams, Germany, which is thought to be prosperous.

So, a corridor then? This sentence hit the Germans like a wasp sting. Orbán, who still studied history in Hungary, does not accidentally pull such phrases from the deck. The Hungarian historical experience is almost a thousand years old, that when foreigners enter the territory of the country, they tend to forget the gratitude for the hospitality they received. Even the Knights of the Cross, who used the Kingdom of Hungary as a transit route for their journey to the Holy Land. The Hungarian king, who was nicknamed Bookish because of his knowledge, first welcomed them with goodwill and allowed them to buy their necessities at the fairs. But when the crusaders, seeing the wealth of the country, began to rob, pillage and commit violence, they did not hesitate for a moment, mercilessly crushed them and chased them out of the country.

The king himself directed the operation, and in the following year he opened a corridor for the Crusaders to pass through the country. At the head of his army, he personally checked the passage of the Crusaders from a decent distance. There was no more looting! However, there were leaders among the crusaders who believed that a crusade should be launched against Hungary, since the Hungarians are just as pagan as the infidels of the Holy Land. They proclaimed from above that "there is no difference between the killing of pagans and Hungarians", but in fact they were aching for the country's treasures. The leaders of the "holy war" would have preferred to occupy this country and immediately divided the positions they had not yet obtained among themselves.

I don't know what kind of corridor Viktor Orbán envisioned for unwanted migrants, but in the otherwise conservative "Die Welt" they immediately put it on the back burner and lined up all half-information to disinformation the readers. The poor refugees are turned back to Serbia by the Hungarian authorities without further ado, even though human rights defenders and the UN refugee agency consider this to be illegal. Hungary, who knows how many times, violates European and international law, it is no wonder that there are numerous infringement proceedings against the country. German public opinion, which considers itself to be in solidarity, is tuned against Hungary with such things.

We don't think for a minute that the manipulated message reaches its destination so easily these days. Reading through the hundreds of comments, one can see sympathy with Hungarian politics. Protecting the external borders of the EU is a duty, and it is a disgrace if the countries concerned do not receive financial support for it. Border crossing is illegal, border protection is not. Germany deserves its fate and Orbán is right! He is the only politician who always says what he wants and represents his country even against the arrogance of Brussels or Germany (!). Hungarians can be happy that they have such a prime minister, it is no coincidence that he is always re-elected. Germany also needs such a leader, maybe if he took on a side job, that would be good too. And if he insists on the corridor, they will ask him to extend it to Brussels so that the decision-makers there bear the consequences of their policies. (Written by the commentators - the ed.)

What a pity that almost half of Hungary sees this differently. They are dissatisfied with the prime minister. They are tired of his rhetoric, the eternal defense of the country, change, they want something else. But do they know what? Do they know that we live in a world that needs a leader with a strong hand who is brave, determined and committed. Who cannot be controlled from the background. Let's try to think on a European and world political scale for once!
