The faction of the Fidesz-KDNP is initiating the convening of an extraordinary general meeting in the capital to investigate the case of the City Hall and related land issues, the head of the Fidesz-KDNP faction in the capital announced on Monday on the Fidesz Budapest Facebook page.
Zsolt Láng said in the video that Mayor Gergely Karácsony is sinking deeper and deeper into the matter: he is not looking for answers to the questions, but is constantly talking aside and leading the way.
The people of Budapest have the right to know the answers to the questions that have arisen in recent weeks - emphasized the leader of the faction, who asked the mayor that - although according to the law there are 15 days to convene the extraordinary general meeting - to convene it immediately, at 9 o'clock on Wednesday morning, that " the substantive investigation can finally begin".
According to the post, the faction proposes only one item on the agenda for the extraordinary general assembly: the establishment of a commission of inquiry into the matter.
