In his invitation to the two-day summit in Prague scheduled for Thursday, Michel stressed that the war in Ukraine will continue. The Kremlin's irresponsible actions, including the mobilization, the attempt to illegally annex new areas of Ukraine, the sham and forced referendums in the annexed areas led to the further worsening of the situation, the Belgian politician emphasizes.

"In light of these developments, we must act unitedly and decisively, while our solidarity with Ukraine and its people remains unshakable," he said.

He said that at the meeting planned in Prague, the leaders of the member states will discuss how the EU can continue to provide strong economic, military, political and financial support to Ukraine. They will also examine how to protect vital European infrastructure even better.
