Singapore does it right. From December, it will pay the treatment costs of all those who refused the vaccination against Covid by their own decision and then became infected. And it does this with an 86 percent vaccination rate.

Today, it is difficult to talk without emotion about those - in general, but especially about our compatriots - who are not willing to take one of the many vaccines, but still expect community-maintained, free healthcare if they catch the coronavirus. And that doesn't work very well, we could say that the fun was enough. Enough of catering to the anti-vaccine beliefs of 21st century individuals at the expense of the community. The right of the individual cannot override the right of the community, and the conviction of the individual cannot go against the interests of the community, so that the same individual uses the safety net of the community in a pharisaical manner. It's easy to be tough when you know you're going to be soft.

It is not an argument that they also pay for TB - whoever - because our social security system was not designed so that, in the fourth wave of a world epidemic, six or seven kinds of vaccines, financed by the community, which can be taken for free, are rejected by some with a dependent little finger, then demand hospital treatment that can last for weeks. The financial and human resources of the community are finite, whether you like it or not, anti-vaccinationists must also acknowledge this. And when the care of cancer patients is in jeopardy - as it is happening in Austria - there is not much to talk about.

I note that everyone has the right to refuse the vaccine, as long as they accept the consequences of their decision, instead of smearing it on the community. But I have never heard from any anti-vaccination mouth that thank you, I don't ask for the vaccine out of conviction, and I don't ask for treatment out of the same conviction if I catch the virus. No infectious disease is a private matter, but those who do see it as such accept the consequences of their decisions, be it serious costs or restrictions.

What happens instead? The surrounding societies are grumbling, in the democratic Netherlands they shoot the crowd with live ammunition - luckily not at the illegal immigrants at the Polish border, because that would only cause a really big mess -, in Austria a curfew will start from Monday, and vaccination will be made mandatory from February. In the case of Croats, the crowd also chants that the government distinguishes people as first-class and second-class citizens. It's not the virus or the vaccine, they have nothing to do with it, but the driving.

And at home? Telex employees in ATV criticize the government for not campaigning enough for the vaccine. Do you understand? In the fourth wave, when there are six or seven types of vaccines that can be taken free of charge, the internet is full of government advertising promoting vaccination, doctors are simultaneously on TV and radio, and for two years now, Covid has been flowing from the tap, but they still think that an additional government campaign is needed, to convince staunch anti-vaccinationists. Because a few thousand billboards would obviously solve the issue.

But recently, "The real dialogue about epidemic management!" also a post entitled , which was signed by many of our celebrities. If the situation were not so absurd, we could even find the point-by-point explanation entertaining, as László Szily did , to the indignation of many. I note that I did not think that I would ever be on the same platform with opinion leader 444 on any topic, but now it has happened; true, only partially. Let's see what he writes!

"It was particularly contrasting to read the REAL DIALOGUE ON EPIDEMIC MANAGEMENT! an open letter combined with collecting signatures. Here is his address right away, and at the same time - in principle - his main claim. Hungary, the domestic public discourse, the Fidesz government, the opposition, the Hungarian press and the Hungarian population can rightly be criticized for countless things, but if there has been a lack of anything in the past one and three-quarter years, it is the real dialogue about epidemic management... At least that kind of thing. the second open letter is funny, "Let's not look at each other as minors!" point entitled According to the authors of the manifesto, the behavior of minors is to follow the rules without "persuasion and conviction". According to this, the dead friends and relatives, acquaintances and strangers did not convince them that during an epidemic, the most important universal human freedom is not to have a good time in the Little Factory and then go to a concert."

Those who reject vaccination do not have arguments, but excuses. But you get everything from that. They demand certainty and a guarantee, and they don't understand what "according to the current state of science" means, and if they hear that "science is not infallible either", it is tantamount to conspiracy. Today, any commentator has a better understanding of cell biology than all the researchers, the spike protein can be recognized from twenty meters away, and they only get information from alternative sources, because everything else is a lie. The government. And the scientists. And the virologists. But the other doctors are also suspicious. An anti-vaccinationist doesn't go with the crowd, don't let anyone tell him what to do, especially don't force him to do anything! On the other hand, if you get sick, the doctor should be available immediately, the hospital should receive you, and a ventilator should be at hand, but immediately.

The confidence of anti-vaccinationists is such a special asset. It grows there by itself in an emergency.
