Five courts discussed our case for almost six years, which finally ended with a settlement: the actors of the religion-defaming performance apologized. Edit Frivaldszky, director of the Center for Human Dignity, wrote in a statement sent to our editors.

After the Constitutional Court ruled that the expression identifying Jesus with the abortion pill went beyond the limits of freedom of speech and opinion , the members of the group sent us a statement with their own signatures, in which they apologize to us and to all Catholic believers with these lines:

"We, the undersigned, apologize to those Catholics whose religious sensibilities we offended when, on April 10, 2016, at our demonstration in front of the building of the Polish Embassy - during a performance expressing an important political opinion for us - we imitated the sacrificial offering with an abortion pill"

With these lines and the decision of the Constitutional Court, we made history. This is the first case of this kind in Hungary, which has aroused serious international interest. Maybe they could have worded the apology differently, maybe we wouldn't have used those words... But they did: they apologized.

it is written by Edit Frivaldszky .

This ended the years-long lawsuit, as a result of which the voice of the people of faith received a strong representation in our increasingly hostile liberal world . Thanks to all those who helped the case in some way, who participated in this long trial. And thanks to all those who supported the promotion of the case with prayer, morally, and financially, to the CitizenGO community, with whose help the work "born" from the lawsuit, the "Sculpture of the Unborn Child" was realized.

The "Sculpture of the Unborn Child" is the work of Slovak sculptor Martin Hudacek. The statue proclaiming forgiveness travels the country as a traveling statue to help heal the wounds of abortion and process abortions for both women and men. Next to the statue, stories are told, spiritual adoptions are initiated or the wounds of the past are healed through silent prayers.
They apologized to us, and we, the staff of the Center for Human Dignity, forgive them.
Whoever asks for forgiveness, a new life sprouts in him; - he who forgives gives birth to a new life."
