Migration to Europe puts the external borders under considerable pressure and causes problems in everyday life, said the prime minister's chief adviser on internal security in a video shared on the government's Facebook page on Tuesday.

György Bakondi stated in the video that the Brussels apparatus primarily works on legalizing migration and presenting it in a favorable light.

Hungary is doing its best to maintain the security measures that have been proven so far, to guarantee the safety of the Hungarian people - he emphasized, adding that the country also protects the European external borders.

He added that the government does not support the legalization of migration, nor the distribution of migrants according to some kind of quota. We would like the Hungarian people to be able to decide who they want to live with, he emphasized.

György Bakondi continued that it was no coincidence that wherever the left came to power, it turned the perception of migration into a positive one, that is, it did everything to make the population accept it, even by keeping the negatives silent.

That is why, as long as Hungary has a national government, we will do everything we can to ensure that this policy does not gain ground and that we are not forced to live with strangers. We must go forward and not turn back! - declared the prime minister's chief adviser on internal security.
