The prime minister is asking for the support because, as he writes, the stake is no less than whether Hungary will continue to move forward or return to the Gyurcsány era full of failures.
"We have entered an age full of dangers, where we have to fight the epidemic, the growing illegal migration, and the increasingly aggressive intervention attempts of Brussels and the Soros empire at the same time," explains the prime minister in his letter.
Viktor Orbán concluded his message by saying that next spring it will be up to us to decide where our nation will go next. "We must not turn back, Hungary must go forward!" - it reads, and then the prime minister asks the supporters to contribute to this struggle with their donation if they can afford it and to support the Fidesz campaign.
It is not the first time that the Prime Minister addresses his supporters in this form: a few months before the parliamentary elections in April 2018, he also wrote a letter to all those who, through the provision of data, consented to the Hungarian government informing them about the most important matters affecting the country.
