Klára Dobrev is not running again for the post of EP vice-president, and at the moment we don't know whether to be happy about it or rather to worry about it.

"My mandate as vice-president of the European Parliament was for two and a half years, and it has now expired. I have decided not to run again, the parliament will elect a new president and vice-presidents next week," writes Klára Dobrev on her official Facebook page . According to the DK politician, it was a difficult period, full of problems, difficulties, conflicts and great losses due to the epidemic, but as he put it: these past two and a half years were the most uplifting and eventful period of his life. According to Dobrev, the most important task now is to win the election and replace Viktor Orbán.

"In the period ahead, I will concentrate all my efforts on the domestic campaign in Hungary and on promoting the United States of Europe in Brussels. We have a lot of work ahead of us, stay with me!"

- concludes Klára Dobrev's post.
