Finnish MP Päivi Räsänen is still under legal attack for posting a biblical quote on her Twitter page in which she defended Christian teaching.

Despite the possibility of a prison sentence and continuous persecution, the brave Christian representative did not give up, but continues to stand up for his values with unwavering strength:

"I cannot accept that voicing my religious beliefs can result in a prison sentence. I didn't threaten, I didn't slander, I didn't hurt anyone. My statements were all based on the Bible's teachings on marriage and sexuality."

“I will not change my views. I will not be afraid and hide my faith. The more Christians remain silent on sensitive topics, the narrower the space for freedom of speech becomes.”

CitizenGo launched a petition on behalf of a woman who refuses to deny her faith. So far, more than 250,000 people have joined the protest statement, but the NGO wants to be able to send twice that number to the Finnish Attorney General by January 24, that is, by the time of the anti-Christian trial.
