With 476.5 million forints, the Ministry of Human Resources is supporting the restoration works due to the fire in the Emergency Department of the Szent Imre University Teaching Hospital of the South Buda Center Hospital, according to the announcement of the EMMI.

"A fire broke out at the Szent Imre University Teaching Hospital at the end of January, as a result of which the Emergency Department suffered considerable damage, amounting to hundreds of millions.

Miklós Kásler, the Minister of Human Resources, visited the site on the day of the fire and assured General Director Róbert J. Bedros that the government would provide all assistance to the hospital's recovery.

Although the hospital has a property insurance contract and the insurance company has started the on-site inspection and damage assessment, the insurance processes may be delayed.

Therefore, EMMI provides exceptional support to the hospital for emergency patient care in Budapest," reads the announcement.
