On Monday, former US President Donald Trump's social media site, named Truth Social, became officially available to users. Functionally, it will work similarly to Twitter, with the difference that, according to the former Republican president, everyone will be free to express their political opinions.

For some time, Trump has talked about his plans to create an Internet platform where, unlike Facebook and Twitter, conservative voices can be accommodated, and now he has made the idea a reality.

Earlier, several papers wrote about how large social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram censor right-wing, Christian, conservative opinions, while giving free rein to liberal ideas and LGBTQ propaganda, Origo pointed out .

There was also a precedent in Hungary, where Facebook blocked right-wing opinions, for example a video from the Center for Fundamental Rights, and the world's largest social network did not allow articles from several conservative newspapers, including Origo, to be advertised for days. More precisely, it took so much time to review and review the ads that by the time they were approved by Facebook, they were no longer relevant.

The newspaper also reported that a man embedded among the Facebook moderators proved with secret video recordings that the moderators censor every conservative post they come across, while they censor left-wing content, even if it violates social principles.

The recordings revealed that Facebook moderators delete posts supporting Trump even if they do not conflict with the platform's community principles. One moderator was asked on the hidden camera if he deletes all conservative content he comes across, to which he replied, “Yes! Damn it, I'll delete them."

It was precisely for such cases that Donald Trump launched Truth Social, which will function functionally like Twitter, with the difference that, according to the former Republican president, everyone will be able to express their political opinions freely.
