Viktor Orbán's politics were praised by Dan Schneider on the third day of the Florida conference of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), considered the largest American conservative gathering.

In his speech, the director of the American Conservative Union (ACU), which organized the event, praised the Hungarian prime minister, among other things, for the protection against illegal immigration and the Hungarian child protection law.

He pointed out that there are constant fights between Brussels and states fighting for their national sovereignty, such as Hungary.

The dominant themes of the entire CPAC conference were issues that are also highlighted in Hungary: the protection of children, their right to education, and illegal immigration. Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Missouri State Senator Josh Hawley, for example, criticized Joe Biden's migration policy, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo criticized his foreign policy, Candace Owens, and the world's most influential internet opinion leader's speech focused on the family.

Dan Schneider's name may sound familiar in Hungary, the leader of the influential American conservative organization visited Hungary several times last year. For example, IV. At the Budapest Demographic Summit, he also had the opportunity to speak with Viktor Orbán. He wrote on his Twitter page:

"We hope Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will join us at CPAC in Hungary. He will show the whole of Europe why national sovereignty is so important."

The director also organized that CPAC's first European event will be hosted in Hungary at the end of March, and the theme of the event will be based on the triple unity of "God, home, family". At the time, he justified the decision by saying: "Several countries from Europe have already signed up to say that they would like to organize the event in their own country, but the ACU stuck to its position that it only gives the right to organize to a country that is committed to national sovereignty and traditional while preserving values."

Incidentally, the Center for Basic Rights (AK) will be represented at this year's conference in Florida for the fourth time, Miklós Szánthó, the organization's director, will also speak at the event.
