László Csizmadia, the president of CÖF-CÖKA, wrote an open letter in the spirit of national defense. We publish the article in its entirety:

Dear Spiritual Patriots!
Dear friends!

I believe that I don't need to prove that the success of our Peace March determines our further destiny. We remember that on January 21, 2012, we came together with similar sentiments and saved our nation and our reigning government.

The strength of our community hasn't changed since then, and we've proven every time that when home calls, we always come.

Now, when the Russian-Ukrainian situation and the danger fueled by the opposition threatens again, we must know that our unity is our only peaceful weapon.

It is given every four years before the parliamentary elections, so that we can put the principle of the people's sovereignty to good use in practice. For the sake of our homeland, let us show on March 15 that the spirit of Lajos Kossuth and Sándor Petőfi lives on. Even before the elections on April 3, with our participation in the Peace March, we signal to our internal and external opponents that we will never again give up our independence, the sovereignty of our nation, and that we will be able to defend our freedom with the majority of the Hungarian citizenry, and if necessary, we will also be able to fight for it.

At the Peace March on March 15, we can all draw strength from the radiance of our community. With wise thinking and taking the facts into account, we can prepare for the parliamentary elections, where we can once again stand up for the activities of our government so far and move forward with our votes and hard work.

Our guiding slogan "Peace march - NO WAR - Let's say no to war" meets the opinion of all citizens of Europe.
