Péter Jakab didn't go to the opposition's campaign finale, and he won't be there for the results. According to information from Mandiner, the Jobbik president's relationship with Péter Márki-Zay has deteriorated.

According to the portal's socialist sources, the relationship between Péter Jakab and Péter Márki-Zay has deteriorated to such an extent that the Jobbik leader will not participate in the joint wait for the results of the left alliance. The reports are also supported by the fact that the video uploaded  revealed that the Jobbik president did not even participate in the joint campaign finale of the left-wing coalition.

Jakab: It will not be easy for Márki-Zay to defeat Viktor Orbán

The video shared by the Jobbik president on his social media page on Saturday revealed that the politician held his campaign finale separately from the left-wing coalition. At the event, among other things, he spoke about how it will not be easy for Péter Márki-Zay to defeat Viktor Orbán. As he put it:

And Péter Márki-Zay must defeat Viktor Orbán. It won't be easy, it won't be easy"

- said the Jobbik leader.

According to our information, the conflict between Márki-Zay and Jakab is rooted in the period of the primary election. It is worth noting: the two politicians competed for 3rd place at the same time (behind Gergely Karácsony and Klára Dobrev) in the left-wing primaries, not to mention the fact that Péter Márki-Zay's idea for a seventh faction with Péter Jakab at the helm was vetoed by the left. " He could have said this before the primary election, but everyone accepted the rules then. The organizer will form a faction of six parties, and Márki-Zay chose Párbeszéd, " Jakab recalled at the time, adding that

we don't change the rules on the fly".

" If Péter Márki-Zay wants to create an independent faction from a party that does not exist in practice, he is disregarding the will of the voters," explained the Jobbik leader.
