Zoltán Balczó believes that their voluntary pre-election alliance with DK means crossing the Rubicon. As he stated, the politician has strong doubts as to whether they will be able to proceed on the path they set out for themselves in the declaration of principle. According to him, Jobbik supported unworthy candidates during the left-wing primaries. The parliamentary representative of the Jobbik Movement for Hungary believes that the fact that he has already defeated the Fidesz candidate cannot be a reason to support "a candidate with a mafia attitude".

"Jobbik's decline began after the 2018 election - the 20 percent result was mistakenly considered a failure by the party's leaders. It reached its lowest point in the 2019 EP elections. It was then strengthened under the chairmanship of Péter Jakab, although it did not come close to the 2018 level of support. I am convinced that Jobbik's pre-election tactics and pact-making played a big role in the large-scale loss of votes that is now believed to be realistic. I see this not only in hindsight, I sent my short analysis on this to the national presidency of Jobbik long before the primary elections, in June 2021. My call for attention fell on deaf ears"

- Zoltán Balczó, parliamentary representative of the Jobbik Movement for Hungary, wrote in his Facebook post, according to whom many people are concerned about the question:

Where, how to continue, Jobbik?

Of course, we also have to give Ferenc Gyurcsány the opportunity to change, but still, I have to ask the question: who is the symbol of this world among the politicians who are still active today? Bertalan Tóth or Ferenc Gyurcsány? After a hoped-for victory, do we want to be a counterweight to Ferenc Gyurcsány and his party in such a way that with the current cooperation we also promote the DK's strong parliamentary presence? Is it now our main ally so that we can be their strongest counterpoint?

he added. Zoltán Balczó believes that this is the

Their voluntary pre-election alliance with DK represents the crossing of the Rubicon.

As stated, the representative has strong doubts as to whether they will be able to proceed on the path they set for themselves in the statement of principles. According to the representative, the majority of voters consider Gyurcsány unacceptable, but they would still vote for this joint list because Jobbik is there. They were now dismayed at the sight of this pact.

The result is known. The pact did not have a positive result for Jobbik, we did not win a single individual representative seat,

at the same time, DK became the strongest opposition party in the parliament with a significant difference in mandates. The current question, which I think we need to find an answer to, is how to cross the Rubicon, which has swelled to a great extent in the meantime, - concluded the representative.
