The President of the Republic of Hungary will also participate in the Hungarian Reformed Unity Day in Gyulafehérvár on Saturday, during which, among other things, the full-length statue of Prince Gábor Bethlen will be unveiled in the center of the city. The Hungarian head of state, who was inaugurated last weekend, will also give a speech at the ceremony - the press service of the Transylvanian Reformed Church District (EREK) informed the Krónika editorial office on Monday.

Every Hungarian person matters, even in the smallest settlement - this is what the Hungarian Reformed Church wants to convey by holding the Hungarian Reformed Unity Day on May 19-21 in Gyulafehérvár, a scattered town in southern Transylvania, this year after a two-year hiatus.

According to EREK's information on Monday, the full-length statue of Prince Gábor Bethlen will be unveiled in the center of Gyulafehérvár on Saturday from 11 a.m. Katalin Novák, the President of the Republic of Hungary, will be present and give a speech at the celebration. The series of events continues with a service at 12:00 p.m., at which Zoltán Balog, pastor president of the Synod of the Hungarian Reformed Church, serves.
