More than 60 million forints are used by charitable organizations to send more than a thousand people to camps, said the State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office responsible for church and ethnic relations, at the Katolicus Karitász camp in Balatonakali.

Miklós Soltész , who is also the president of the National Humanitarian Coordination Council, emphasized: in the past months, under the guidance of the government, charitable organizations and volunteers have carried out complex work, the basis of which is humanity and attention.

Among the participants of the summer camps of the charitable organizations are those who came from across the border and those who currently live in Hungary. Miklós Soltész said: More than 820,000 people arrived in Hungary from Ukraine on the Transcarpathian borders and from Romania, and more than 140,000 of them applied for and received temporary residence permits. He added that more than 380,000 people received support at the border and Budapest aid points.
