The first Kőrösmezői Tulip Folk Art Camp started on July 25.

The II. of the event It is hosted by Ferenc Rákóczi Subcarpathian Hungarian College in Kőrösmező. At the official opening Andzselika Kepics , director of the Tulipán Tanoda Hungarian Folk Art School, greeted those present. He went on to say that the main task of their institution is to nurture, preserve and pass on Hungarian folk art values ​​and folk traditions to the younger generation, therefore they want to develop their students' knowledge not only during the education period, but also during the holidays...

40 children from Kőrösmező and Terebesfejérpatak came to the camp, who during the week will get to know the culture of the Hungarian people, different styles of folk music, and folk games; they sing folk songs and dance, and in their free time they can develop their dexterity in handicrafts.

At the end of the opening, the instructors of the camp performed Szatmár verbunk and csárdás.

The Tulip Folk Art Camp in Kőrösmező is organized by the Tulipán Tanoda Hungarian Folk Art School, with the support of the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office and the National Talent Program.
