The police arrested several groups of migrants at the borders this morning, most of them were trying to enter the country in Csongrád county, there were 159 in five groups, the police wrote on its website.

In the Csongrád-Csanád county, 39 migrants were arrested in the morning at Röszke, before that, 123 migrants were caught in four groups in the outskirts of Mórahalom, Ásotthalom and Röszke, who claimed to be Afghan and Syrian citizens, but could not prove this. In Bács-Kiskun, 29 border violators were arrested at night in the Balotaszállás area. A few hours later, a total of 59 foreigners were stopped at Csikéria, Bácsalmás and Katymár.

The illegal migrants claimed to be Afghan, Syrian, Pakistani and Indian citizens, but they did not have papers either. The police will escort them back to the temporary security border in accordance with current Hungarian legislation.
