Food courier companies have also found a solution to how to pay their suppliers due to tax changes affecting kata.

The law gives and makes it clear that courier activity cannot be carried on with a kata in the usual way in recent years - Foodpanda told Magyar Hírlap, which also indicated that after September 1, their courier partners will have several options to choose from, depending on their life situation, flat-rate taxation or business tax they recommend taxation according to income. The company clearly stated: it has always operated and intends to operate in the future according to the laws in force and the intention of the legislator. As Magyar Hírlap reported, Wolt Hungary wrote in a letter sent to its couriers that flat-rate taxation, like kata, is a very flexible form of taxation, which also allows them to undertake delivery tasks flexibly, free of constraints. It also speaks for itself that a full-time self-employed person can choose, but it is also a workable format for a Wolt courier partner who delivers as a student, pensioner or full-time.
