There is a very high chance of an Orbán-Trump meeting in Dallas. Viktor Orbán's press chief described the information published in the press as fake news, according to which the Prime Minister went on vacation on Monday. The Hungarian Prime Minister will give a speech at the opening of the CPAC, there has been no change in this, said Bertalan Havasi. According to Zoltán Kovács, there is a very high chance that Viktor Orbán will also meet Donald Trump in the United States.

"The Prime Minister did not go on vacation. This is fake news. Viktor Orbán is traveling to the United States, where he will give a speech at the opening of CPAC. There has been no change in this," said Bertalan Havasi, the prime minister's press chief, when asked by Atv.hu.

Last week, there were speculations that the Prime Minister's invitation to CPAC in Dallas might be in jeopardy because of his speech in Tusnádfürdő and the use of the word "mixed race". In the meantime, there was news that the Prime Minister was going on vacation from Monday. Bertalan Havasi has now denied this.

At a press conference held on a different topic, also on Monday, Zoltán Kovács, the State Secretary responsible for international communications and relations, drew attention to the fact that the Prime Minister will be the invited guest speaker in black and white, "round and pretzel" on the website of the CPAC event.

Atv.hu asked the state secretary whether there will be a meeting between Orbán and Trump in Dallas, since the former US president will also be the keynote speaker at CPAC. According to Zoltán Kovács, "the probability of this is quite high, it reaches ten on a scale of ten", said the government politician.
