At the start of the school year, left-wing organizations or organizations closely linked to them are also threatening bridge closures, demonstrations and civil disobedience. Among other things, the Tanítanék Movement is trying to turn the teachers against the government, ignoring the constructive attitude of the Secretary of State.

The organization is trying to organize civil disobedience for the start of school in the event that the government rejects their ultimatum.

In it, they demanded that the cabinet restore the right to strike and bring teachers' wages to the level of the graduate minimum wage. In her latest statement, Katalin Törley, the representative of the movement, called the State Secretary's response to their open letter meaningless and insulting.

László Kisfaludy, Deputy Secretary of State for Public Education, recalled in his response to the movement's demand that the second Orbán government started to catch up with teachers' salaries in 2013, provided support for teachers to buy apartments, helped young teachers starting their careers with tax exemptions for those under 25, and teachers with families with a refund of your income tax.

The state secretary also pointed out that the right to strike has not been abolished, but is ensured within a transparent, well-regulated framework.

From the activities and relationships of the Tanítans, it seems as if they are not striving for agreement at all costs.

For example, since the beginning of the summer, its representatives have been working to continue the civil disobedience that began during the election campaign and raise it to a more intense level. According to Törley, they would also like to involve parents in the anti-government actions, referring to the fact that their movement acts in the interests of the students.

In addition, the representative of the organization expressed his hope that the European Union will put pressure on the government by withholding the restoration funds, because he believes that this may benefit the teachers.

With another bridge closure, the group called Students for Teachers wants to paralyze traffic in Budapest, which is plagued by traffic jams and roadblocks. Their representative, Lili Mihalics, claimed that although

According to him, the independent demonstration is organized by high school students, and the teachers' unions will also join the demonstration by organizing the teachers.

The representative of the Democratic Trade Union of Teachers (PDSZ), Erzsébet Nagy, stated in relation to the movement: the students' demonstration is being propagated in order to demonstrate the participation of as many teachers and public education workers as possible.

Even though the trade union tries to hide behind the mask of independence, they were already exposed during the coronavirus epidemic.

At that time, they demanded – otherwise legitimately – that teachers should be vaccinated earlier in the vaccination schedule, on the grounds that they have a lot of relatively close personal contact with other people. When the government accepted their argument and fulfilled their demand, they continued to vilify the cabinet and tune the teachers against the opening of the schools.
