The National First Aid Competition will take place tomorrow (September 10) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. organized by the Hungarian Red Cross at several points in the capital.

The event mainly affects the city center, Városliget, Hősök teré and Andrássy ut. Traffic will be restricted only at the Kodály roundabout, where a short section of Andrássy út will be closed between 12:00 and 13:00 due to the meeting related to the event. You can avoid it on both sides of the square. Expect increased traffic and longer journey times on the affected road section.

The humanitarian organization also warns that although the competition aims to draw the public's attention to the importance of first aid, there may be simulated life-saving exercises during the day that can be especially disturbing for small children
.

The Hungarian Red Cross asks that no one notify the ambulances or disaster protection without prior information!

The 50th First Aid Competition is open to the public, everyone is welcome to watch, including children who come with their parents, as it is important that they get to know the basics of first aid as early as possible.
