On September 25, a festive mass was presented in Rád with the chief celebrant of Vác county bishop Zsolt Marton, where the chief pastor blessed the renovated church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the settlement near Vách.

Over the past two and a half years, with the help of persistent work, organization, financial support, and successful tenders, as a result of the cooperation and prayers of many, the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Rádo, a settlement near the Danube bend, and its surroundings have been renovated.

The county bishop of Vác Marton Zsolt, who arrived at the site well before the start of the mass, thoroughly inspected the church interior, which has been renovated from a safety and functional point of view, and which has been beautified in many details, as well as the outdoor improvements that have now been implemented.

Bishop Zsolt Marton emphasized in his homily:

"When we ask for God's blessing on the church, we are not actually asking for the stones, but for the community. Today, the entire parish is celebrating: families, singles, young people, widows, every member of the community, so let's all give thanks for our families as well," added Zsolt Marton, the bishop of the Hungarian Catholic Bishops' Conference.

As part of the mass, the chief pastor also blessed the altar stone, stripped of its decorations, symbolizing Christ, shining in its simple dignity, which was then dressed in full regalia by the faithful and surrounded with flowers.
