According to the Columbia professor, the USA may have exploded the Nord Streams. The star economist listed his evidence at length in his interview with Bloomberg TV, reports Mandiner.hu.

According to the Columbia professor, the United States is clearly to blame for the leak at the gas pipeline. When Jeffrey Sachs said this to Bloomberg TV, the host immediately cut him off. The star economist cited the presence of American military helicopters in the region as evidence.

Sachs, who is a well-known adviser to UN leaders, spoke in detail about US President Joe Biden's previous threats and how the Secretary of State called the bombing a huge opportunity.

The professor said that the responsibility of the United States should not be brought up in the Western world, "but everyone guesses what really happened."

He said that only Western countries impose sanctions, while the majority of the world watches the events silently.

He explained that he was definitely in favor of peace and would be happy if America and Russia would end the war.

Sachs's experience is that many Western journalists are of the opinion that the United States is responsible for what happened, but they do not accept their opinion. He pointed out that the Western media distorts the picture, but according to a significant part of the world, there was indeed a NATO provocation, Mandiner added.
