The French president spoke about the management of Russia's security needs with a view to future peace negotiations.
Reuters interprets French President Emmanuel Macron's words on Saturday:
"The West must consider how to deal with Russia's demands to guarantee the security of Russians,
if President Putin agrees to negotiations to end the war”.
According to Macron, Europe needs to deal with Putin's fear: it needs to deal with the fact that NATO can reach Putin's "doorstep, stand at his gate", that is, with the installation of weapons that threaten Russia, which in turn will represent Europe's security system.
