There is still enormous indignation in Romania because Austria vetoed the country's Schengen accession on Thursday.

After the  was invited  , and the Romanian ambassador in Vienna  was sent home , the world outside of diplomacy and politics also announced anti-Austrian actions.

On Sunday, the Sindalimenta trade union association, which brings together food industry trade unions, announced that its presidency decided to boycott Austrian products at its weekend meeting, and that it is urging its member organizations to do the same.

As a first step, they will liquidate their bank account with BCR, which is owned by the Austrian Erste Bank, and they have also indicated that they will not buy Austrian products, and they are calling on everyone not to refuel at OMV wells.

The reason given was that the Austrian veto was seen as disregarding Romania and the Romanians.
