Many people spend huge sums of money to buy pyrotechnic devices for the New Year's Eve fireworks, which, despite the fact that they get more expensive every year, there is always a huge demand for them. New Year's Eve fireworks are available in fewer places this year, so the businesses that distribute pyrotechnic devices are expecting an explosive turnover, the press reported.

Firecrackers are prohibited this year, as they have been every year since 2005. Its possession is considered a violation and anyone who celebrates with it can expect a fine of 150,000. Illegal device users will be severely punished by the authorities again this year, it is worth buying only from a reliable source and an officially licensed seller.

In addition, we should perhaps think about whether the money intended for this purpose – dog repellants – could be better used instead of being slapped. For example, could animal shelters or human rescue foundations, for example people in Ukraine fleeing from real war fireworks, Transcarpathian schools, organizations receive it?

I live in a garden city, and here at the turn of the year, the battle of egos starts to see who can bang longer and bigger. Who has more colorful light, whose star flies higher, where is the biggest party.

Well, the fact is that every minute the Earth is at a point in its circle around the Sun, where it will return only after a year. These points are usually the weekdays that have been very hot and flashy lately. Epidemics, war, and crisis plague our region and the fear of Armageddon hangs over the whole world.

Maybe at this time it is worth turning down the light of the egos a little and thinking - and even doing - for those who have been seeing only the light of rockets in the dark for days, or it is difficult for them to even buy food for New Year's Eve because they are old, homeless, orphaned or in crisis they have lives.

The light of the soul lasts longer than ostentatious fireworks. Before the pyrotechnician's stand, let's think a little and take it back from the gunpowder. Let's show solidarity and give gifts to our fellow human beings in need in the last minutes of the New Year.

Oh, and the dogs too!
