By the way, Andrea Kis played a very important role in the fact that Márki-Zay was able to win the mayorship of Vásárhely in 2018 as the only opposition candidate. The MSZP deputy mayor announced this at Thursday's general meeting. He asked Márki-Zay to sit down to discuss the conflict between the two, but the mayor did not even answer him, Promenad24.hu wrote.

The politician announced this at the end of his long speech at Thursday's general assembly during the agenda item on the deputy mayors' report for 2022. In his speech, among other things, he thanked the employees of the office for helping him in his work, and expressed his regret that the fight between political camps has poisoned public life in Vásárhely for five years, Promenad24.hu wrote.

He added that the residents will find him in the future as well, and he promises that he will be a local Vásárhely politician even when others get tired of dealing with the ups and downs of the city. He also revealed that he asked Péter Márki-Zay to discuss the political dispute between the two of them, but the mayor did not respond to his request or letter.

It is worth noting that a few weeks ago the bomb exploded following Promenad24 articles that fault lines had formed around Mayor Péter Márki-Zay. Following their writings, the city manager announced in the propaganda media that he no longer considers Kis Andrea and DK's Ferenc Krupiczer to be part of the MMM - Tiszta Vásárhelyért faction, and even hinted that, in his opinion, they are already helping the other political side. The MSZP politician, a member of the party's national presidency, also told Márki-Zay in the lackey press that they should sit down to negotiate, but according to them, he did not receive an answer. It proved that the portal was right when it wrote: Kis and Krupiczer got the silk cord, Márki-Zay no longer counts on them.

By the way, Kis Andrea had a very important role in the fact that Márki-Zay was able to win the mayorship of Vásárhely in 2018 as the only opposition candidate. He was previously a close ally of the city manager, and then the failed prime ministerial candidate broke up with him. Already after the 2022 election, he was stripped of his duties and most of his salary, but he was unable to call him back from his position for several runs. Now Kis resigned himself. But he is not the first (former) ally to step away from Márki-Zay. In January of this year, János Szabó, who became deputy mayor, also left, the portal reads.
