In Miskolc, Gál Boglárka Bánné, president of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Assembly, Kinga Szőnyi, president of the Association of Hungarian Women's Interests, and singer Kata Kiss are launching a peace mission and organizing a fundraiser in Miskolc. The peace mission starts from the county of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, but the organizers want to involve all counties and the entire Carpathian basin.

Kinga Szőnyi, president of the Association of Hungarian Women's Interests, who is Dr. Bánné, calls for unity for immediate peace and for helping those living in war-torn areas. Together with Boglárka Gál, the president of the County Assembly of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, and singer Kata Kiss, she launched the initiative called Ladies for Peace. The peace mission starts from the county of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, but the organizers want to involve all counties and the entire Carpathian basin.

The initiators of the initiative hope that they will succeed in reaching the leaders of the European Union, calling on the decision-makers to start the peace negotiations with immediate effect.

"We want all Hungarian women, wives and mothers to hear our voices, so that we, who feel responsible for our families, raise our voice as one for peace. At the same time, we would also like as many people as possible to join our initiative, so that as many actions as possible will start, which will provide any kind of support to those who need it in the current peaceful conditions"

said Dr. Bánné. Gál Buttercup.

According to Kinga Szőnyi

the initiative announced on the anniversary of the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian war is actually a peace mission consisting of two pillars: one is to involve the counties and the families of the Carpathian Basin in the peace mission through city leaders and civil organizations.

As he said, although the initiative starts from Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, they want to visit all the counties and draw attention to the assistance.

The purpose of the fundraising, he continued, is to improve the current school conditions of Ukrainian and Hungarian children studying in educational institutions in Subcarpathia, and to support the acquisition of the necessary equipment.

The organizer also highlighted that generators will be purchased from the first donations, which they hope will be able to be brought to Transcarpathia before Easter.
