Hungary will continue to provide all support to the Hungarian communities living abroad and in the wider world, and in Ukraine peace is needed as soon as possible - stated Zoltán Kovács, State Secretary responsible for international communication and relations, at the II. Ferenc Rákóczi at the graduation ceremony of the tourism graduates of the Subcarpathian Hungarian College on Friday.

At the ceremony held in the Roman Catholic church in Beregsász, Zoltán Kovács emphasized that the main basic condition for the development of tourism is peace and mutual respect and understanding.

Zoltán Kovács underlined that: "Since 2010, the Hungarian government has consistently, systematically and persistently represented the principled and practical behavior in national politics, which today also manifests itself in the operation of vocational training institutes and colleges."

The State Secretary explained that the preservation of Hungarian communities abroad, "respecting Hungarian communities and individuals living anywhere in the world is not merely an end in itself and is not directed against anyone".

The main goal is that, on the basis of mutual respect, "the nations living around us and in the world ensure that the Hungarian community, wherever it lives in the world, is able to remain", to be able to enjoy and use its cultural heritage and rights that have been acquired for several centuries.

Zoltán Kovács pointed out that the Hungarian government has been working consistently and persistently for more than a decade to implement these principles "not against others, but for the sake of cooperation with each other".

Hungary's position has been consistent since the first day of the war and the Russian aggression: peace must be created.

"Let there be an end to the killing, let peace be restored, because only then can we talk meaningfully with each other and work for the cooperation of local communities, peoples, nations and countries living side by side," he added.

"Let them live anywhere in the world: we will not leave a Hungarian or a Hungarian community alone," emphasized Zoltán Kovács.

The State Secretary and II. The leaders of Ferenc Rákóczi Transcarpathian Hungarian College and the vocational high school presented diplomas to 24 tourism graduates.
