Viktor Orbán: Hungary is for peace, but the gunpowder must be kept dry.
"In an age of danger, defending Hungary is the most important goal of the government," emphasized the Prime Minister in Székesfehérvár.
On Monday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was informed about the defense capabilities of the Hungarian Armed Forces at the Armed Forces Joint Operations Command Center in Székesfehérvár, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister's press chief, informed MTI.
Minister of National Defense Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky reported to the Prime Minister on the situation of the National Defense and Armed Forces Development Program, related to it, the status of personnel training, and the results of the capacity enhancement ordered in the summer, said Bertalan Havasi.
Viktor Orbán stated again before the military leaders:
defending Hungary in times of danger is the most important goal of the government,
therefore, the development of the national defense and military industry cannot slow down despite the European economic crisis caused by sanctions. We Hungarians are for peace, but the gunpowder must be kept dry, he said.
