But how timely it is to bring up again the poem that we hear and recite every year on March 15 since childhood. Which we are already too used to and does not affect us with the same elemental force as it did in 1848 on the people of that time. The secret of the great poem's effect is that when it was born, it not only expressed what the patriots most desired at the time, but also gave relevance to later Hungarian historical times and still does today. In other words, it is timely from time to time!

Let's take just one section of the poem:

 Stand up Hungarian, hello home!
The time is now, now or never!
Shall we be captives or free?
This is the question, choose!

We see, hear, and even feel how the left-liberal forces are scheming against our country and the Hungarian people. They do everything in the European Parliament and the European Commission to break those who do not agree with them, those who contradict the hegemonic aspirations, the United States of Europe, those who want to belong to the European community as a nation state. So the question is relevant:

Shall we be prisoners or free?
This is the question, choose!
- by the god of the Hungarians
,
We swear that
we will not be prisoners anymore!

The next stanza is almost II. It predicts the times after World War II, when we were prisoners of the Soviet-socialist camp thanks to the great powers until the regime change.

 We were prisoners until now,
our ancestors were cursed,
Who lived and died free,
They cannot rest in Szolgaföld.

Nowadays, the descendants of the socialist masters of that time are moving every stone so that the left-liberal chaos rule takes over Europe. Quite a few DK people and those who identify with them mentally, who consider themselves Hungarians, are scheming against the nation in the European Parliament. For them, left-liberal internationalism comes before the nation. We could also call them differently:

 A wretched man from Sehonna,
Who does not dare to die now, if he has to,
Whose life is more expensive
than the honor of his country.

Hungarians who love and respect their country know very well that those who do not respect their past do not deserve the future. While we are currently experiencing how many forces are moving to shackle the Hungarian nation - migration, sanctions, withdrawal of EU funds - to put the Hungarians in "chains", but we know:

The sword is brighter than the chain,
It adorns the arm better,
And yet we wore a chain!
Here with you, our old sword!

For the time being, we are resisting the pressure, all kinds of stupid rainbow movements, i.e. the subjugating exhaustion of the nation, because since Trianon we trust that:

The Hungarian name will be beautiful again,
worthy of the old great fame;
What the centuries smeared on him,
Let's wash away the disgrace!

Hopefully, "the Hungarian name will be beautiful again" as soon as possible, and as we remember all those who served the interests and good of the Hungarian nation, let us trust that the future generation will do the same.

Where our graves are raised,
Our grandchildren prostrate themselves,
And
recite our holy names with a blessing prayer.
by the god of the Hungarians
,
We swear that
we will not be prisoners anymore!

Because "What does the Hungarian nation want"? None other than what was formulated in 1848:

Let there be peace, freedom and harmony.

But in the meantime, - "let's hold each other's hands, like never before" - as it was expressed in the song: Take care, my nation!
